Tensia is a wellness and record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It records what you enter; it does not diagnose, advise, or measure blood pressure itself.

  • 🙅 No account, ever
  • 🔒 Data stays on your iPhone
  • 🌿 No red, no alarms
  • 🎉 One-time unlock — no subscription

Built for what matters

For chronic-condition patients who measure because a doctor asked them to — and who are poorly served by feature-bloated apps.

Radical simplicity

Log a reading in under 10 seconds. No account, no setup, no learning curve.

Morning & evening reminders

Gentle, optional reminders to take and log your reading — at the morning and evening times that suit your routine.

Calm, non-alarming design

A soft violet palette with no red for status. Full light/dark, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver.

Local-only by default

Your readings stay on your device. No analytics, no tracking SDKs, no cloud.

Doctor-ready

Export a clean PDF report or a plain CSV file to share with your physician.

Long-term trends

Go beyond the free 14-day chart with 30- and 90-day trends in Plus — the longer view your doctor looks for.

Apple Health sync

If you like, Tensia can save your readings to Apple Health too. It only adds them, and never sees your other health data.

One job, done well

Tensia won’t pretend to measure your blood pressure — your monitor does that. We do a single thing properly: keep your readings, with large type and high contrast built for older eyes, and a one-time unlock instead of a subscription. If a feature isn’t honest or genuinely useful, it isn’t here.

Three steps, start to finish 👆

Tensia does one job and does it well: turn a measurement into a record you can hand to your doctor.

  1. Step 1

    Log it

Type the numbers from your monitor. Pulse, arm and time of day are remembered for next time.

  2. Step 2

    Review it

See every reading in a calm protocol list and a 14-day trend. Each entry shows its band by name and colour — never a red warning.

  3. Step 3

    Share it

Export a tidy PDF or CSV for your next appointment. Your doctor gets a clear history without you transcribing the paper pass.

No red. Ever.

Most blood-pressure apps flag a high reading in alarming red. For an anxious user, that alone can push the next reading higher. Tensia takes the opposite approach: severity rises gently through a violet scale, and colour is always a secondary cue. Every reading also shows its band by name and by the numbers, so nothing is hidden behind a colour.

Bands follow the ESH/ESC and ACC/AHA reference tables and are shown for information only — never as a diagnosis.

Questions, answered 💬

Does Tensia measure my blood pressure?
No. Tensia records the readings you take with your own monitor. It is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or give medical advice.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your iPhone. There is no account and no cloud sync. We have no servers that receive your readings, so there is nothing for us to lose or sell.
Is it really free?
Yes. Manual logging, the protocol history, reminders, the 14-day trend chart and CSV export are free forever. A single one-time “Plus” unlock adds longer 30- and 90-day trends, the PDF doctor report and advanced analytics. There is no subscription.
Why is there no red?
Alarming red warnings can raise the blood pressure of anxious users — the opposite of what a logging app should do. Tensia uses a calm violet scale instead, and always shows the band by name and number, never by colour alone.
