Not a medical device

Tensia is a wellness and record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It records what you enter; it does not diagnose, advise, treat, or measure blood pressure itself. The band colouring and analytics are informational only and are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, and call emergency services if you believe you have a medical emergency.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the readings you enter and for keeping your own backups of any data you wish to retain. Tensia stores data locally on your device.

Free and Plus

Tensia is free to use for manual logging and core features. "Plus" is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. It is not a subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's App Store terms, including their refund policy.

Limitations of use

By using Tensia and our website, you agree that you will not:

• modify, copy, decompile, or reverse engineer the app or any software it contains, except as permitted by law;
• remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the app or website;
• transfer the app to another person or "mirror" its materials on any other server;
• use the app in any way that abuses, disrupts, or harms our services or those of others;
• use the app to transmit unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent material, or to send unauthorised advertising or spam;
• use the app in violation of any applicable laws or in a way that infringes the rights of third parties.

Intellectual property

The intellectual property in Tensia and on our website is owned by or licensed to amazeing GmbH. You may download and use the app on your device for personal use only. This is a licence, not a transfer of title, and it terminates automatically if you breach these terms.

Automatic updates

You give us permission to download and install updates to Tensia on your device in accordance with your settings. You can revoke this permission at any time by deleting the app from your device.

Disclaimer and liability

Tensia and its materials are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, amazeing GmbH is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or website, or from any reliance on data they display. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Notice regarding Apple

These terms are between you and amazeing GmbH only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for Tensia or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory, or consumer-protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.
