Your privacy matters to us. It is amazeing GmbH's policy to respect your privacy and to comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including via our app Tensia and its associated services. In short: your blood-pressure readings stay on your device.
Your health data stays on your device
Tensia does not collect, store, or transmit your health data. The readings you enter — blood-pressure values, pulse, dates, and any notes — are stored only on your iPhone. We have no servers that receive or store this data. When you export a report (PDF or CSV), that file is created locally on your device and never passes through our servers.
Information we collect
The app collects the minimal information necessary to provide its services. The only data involved is:
Purchase data.When you make the optional one-time "Plus" purchase, our payments provider RevenueCat processes the transaction and may handle transaction identifiers, your in-app purchase history, and an app-generated identifier used to verify and restore purchases. This information is used solely to validate and restore purchases. It is not used for advertising, is not linked to your identity, and is not sold to third parties. No health data is ever sent to RevenueCat.
Contact details. If you contact us for support, we may receive your name and email address. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Analytics and tracking
Tensia contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share your readings, because we never receive them.
Apple Health
If you choose to enable Apple Health, Tensia writes the readings you log to Apple Health. This is opt-in and write-only. Your Apple Health data is governed by Apple's own privacy controls, and you can revoke this permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Third-party services
The app and website rely on the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat — for in-app purchase processing and restoration.
- Vercel — for hosting this website.
Data export and deletion
You can export your readings as a PDF or CSV file at any time, and you choose where those files go. Because your data is stored only on your device, deleting the app removes your readings. If you use a device backup (such as iCloud Backup), your data may be included in that backup under Apple's terms.
Children's privacy
Tensia is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.
Your rights
Because we do not collect your health data, there is no such data for us to provide, change, or delete. Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) have certain data-protection rights under the GDPR regarding any purchase data processed through RevenueCat; to exercise them, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or to legal requirements. When we do, we will post the updated policy at this location. If required by law, we will seek your consent for any new uses of personal information.
